Wide body fenders can be a useful off road customization especially for vehicles where wheels have been pushed out, larger tires have been installed, or when significant wheel travel is expected such as in Baja dessert racing. McQueen Prototype Design has announced a wide body fender option for the Lexus GX460 that builds on their years of fender design and manufacture.
The McQueen Lexus GX460 fender flares will offer 3″ of additional body width once available. They appear to follow the existing body lines of the GX460 and towards the front of the vehicle end near the headlights for a higher frontal clearance than the stock lines. This allows for significantly higher approach clearance when paired with a high clearance front bumper. The fender flares for the GX460 provide 3″ of additional body width and accept tires sizes up to 35″.
