Their trails definitely skew towards more difficult with 64% of the trails at 4/5 or 5/5 difficulty ratings. There is only one trail with the easiest 1/5 rating and 5 trails with a 2/5 rating. With that said, the park’s main roads can offer some nice off road experiences even if they are only park roads.

What We Love:
- Beautiful Scenary
- Variety of Terrain
- Well Marked Trails
What We Don’t:
- Be careful at trail crossings as you may encounter SxS, ATV or UTVs
Here’s our video from the Texas Soft Roaders Hill Country trip a few years ago – this is our red Jeep Wrangler LJ (she gets along just fine in the garage with our Lexus GX460). Look closely and you’ll probably recognize a few vehicles including a very nice Lexus GX470 overlanding rig.
