The infamous Dakar Rally is a brutal thrashing of motorcycles, trucks and other specialized vehicles in the desserts of Africa and the Middle East. The 2022 Dakar Rally begins New Year’s Day and features a 6,400 mile route through the Saudi Arabian dessert over 14 days. Man and machine will be pushed to the breaking point during each segment – competitors have sadly perished before and modern day teams will need to careful.
