The usual path to a Gladiator on 35s involves a tire shop, a suspension appointment and a growing pile of receipts. Jeep is offering another route: order the truck with the big tires and supporting hardware already fitted, then spend the first weekend planning a trail instead of a build.
The 2027 Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition brings that option to Willys, Rubicon and Rubicon X buyers in North America. Jeep opened orders October 26.

More than a bigger set of tires
The appeal is the package around the rubber: 35-inch all-terrain tires, bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a one-inch suspension lift, 4.56 gearing, heavy-duty Dana axles and performance brakes. Highline fenders make room for the extra tire.
That gearing deserves attention. Larger tires can make a truck feel lazier if the drivetrain stays unchanged; the 4.56 ratio is part of Jeep’s effort to make this a complete setup. For someone who already wanted 35s, buying the pieces together is the real story.
A little more room over the rough stuff
Jeep lists 12.9 inches of ground clearance and approach, breakover and departure angles of 46.7, 23.3 and 26.7 degrees. Think deeper ruts, rocky steps and more breathing room underneath when the easy road gets interesting.
The Gladiator’s long wheelbase still calls for thoughtful line choice over sharp crests. The reward is keeping the pickup bed: room for a camp kitchen, muddy gear and the things you’d rather keep outside the cabin.
Who should have this on their list?
The Willys buyer who wants a trail-ready pickup without building it one appointment at a time. The Rubicon owner-to-be who knows 35s are coming anyway. The camper who wants the vehicle sorted before deciding where to spend Friday night.
The bronze wheels, tow hooks and graphics give the Launch Edition its own look, but the useful upgrade is underneath. This is worth watching because it brings a familiar aftermarket goal onto the factory order sheet.
The number we’re waiting for
Price. Jeep’s announcement did not include the package cost or delivery timing. That will decide whether the convenience makes sense against buying a standard truck and building it yourself. Jeep also lists a 4:1 transfer case; check the final equipment sheet for the exact trim you’re ordering.
