My Roof Top Tent (okay, tent on a roof) worked flawlessly on its first run!

• My RTT: sets up in minutes, provides room for 2, weighs 45 lbs (including wood deck) and costs $105 total. Removes easily when not in use. Low profile for increased mpg.
• Their RTT: sets up in minutes, provides room for 2-3, weighs 150 lbs+, and costs $1,000+. Not easily removed. Higher profile decreases mpg.

It may not be as sexy but it weighs 1/3rd as much (important for off-roading especially on off camber trails) and costs 1/10th as much. Go ahead and file under the overlanding-on-a-budget file.
